AREAS

games room

Games Room is the main area at OSHC, where all communication with children and families occurs. Families should come here to sign their children in and out of each session. Games Room is home to many displays of photos and artwork to show what children participate in and create while at OSHC.

Children can access different games activities and toys in this area during their time at OSHC. Our noticeboard is also in this area and is updated each week with current information about the service.

OSHC ROOM

The OSHC room gives children the opportunity for spontaneous play. With all of our toys on display, children are able to pick and choose what they like day to day. This is where we see the most creativity at OSHC, with children making houses, boats, cafes, offices, and much more using our large variety of equipment.

movie room

Movie Room is not always open as we try and limit our screen time at Cobbler Creek OSHC. This area is ideal for children who require time to relax after a long day at school. We have hundreds of movies and cartoons to choose from, where each session our Educators will take a few different movies over for children to vote on.

outdoor areas

The outside areas offered at Cobbler Creek OSHC include the oval, Golden Grove Playground, Cobbler Creek Playground and Hardcourts. These areas give children the chance to be active and develop their physical skills. Children are able to develop their social skills and develop respect for the environment. Activities offered in these areas vary, with lots of equipment provided to stimulate children’s growth and development.

activity

This area provides children with the opportunity to participate in many arts and craft activities. The structured activities here at OSHC involve lots of different materials such as paint, sequins, beading, slime, playdough, origami, pipe cleaners and more. The variety provided makes Activity one of the most popular areas at Cobbler Creek OSHC.

kitchen AREA

This area is the heart of OSHC. Each morning a healthy breakfast with many options is provided to the children who attend Before School Care. We cater to dietary requirements such as Dairy Free, Lactose Free and Gluten Free/Coeliac children.

We follow the Eat Right Start Right guidelines and we promote a Nut Free environment. All of our meals are made on site by our lovely cook Rebecca. Each day, children are offered Afternoon Tea and a Fruit Snack. We serve a variety of meals and fruits here at OSHC so that children are always able to try new foods.

During the school term, Afternoon Tea is offered at 3:05pm to ensure bellies are kept full during their time at OSHC. During Vacation Care, Afternoon Tea is served at 3:30pm.

hall

We use the Hall during hot weather and rainy days to ensure children are still able to run off any energy they may have. In the hall, we are able to play structured games such as Basketball, All in Tag and more. The hall also hosts many of our incursions during Vacation Care.
